The Story of
Catherine
In the spring of 2020 the world went into shock as the novel Coronavirus spread throughout our communities. Varies shelter in place mandates were set and the people experienced what it means to be locked up inside their homes.
Oregon was one of the first to respond with a stay home mandate, and the people of Portland watched the flower buds and growing leaves from the safety within their homes.
Catherine is a responce to this experience. The monontany, fear, and boredom, while watching the world go by is a shared experience. Being cooped up is very similiar to another household being who has experienced this their whole lives.
